Photoshop 1:
Assignment: - New rules about uploading assignments.
- When you upload your screenshot, click on the image, make it X-tra large, and then click "caption."
- In the caption, write 1-2 sentences explaining what you did.
- Use appropriate vocabulary in each sentence.
- Make sure to use capitals and correct punctuation.
- How to apply cool effects that are non-destructive (don't harm the original image).
- Watch Intro to Filters and Smart Filters using your own image.
- Choose 2 additional images to experiment with.
- In each image, use at least 2 smart filters and one blending mode.
- Take a screenshot of the before and after side by side and upload them separately.
- Name the post Smart Filters
- Explain your process in the caption of each image.
- Note: if you can't find the right filter, choose Filter Gallery
Photoshop 2:
Assignment: - Cont. with baby pictures or your own project or choose a "live" client project from this site.
- Upload your finished image along with a description about what you did or what you learned.
Print and Image:
Assignment: Open the zip file you downloaded yesterday (Here is is again if you need it.)
Download the fonts you will need.
You will be working through all the tutorials on this page. This will give you additional information you will need that was not covered in the videos so far, and will reinforce the skills you already have learned. When you are through, you will have created an image for a t-shirt, and you will be close to being ready to take the Illustrator Certification Exam!
