Print and Image:                                                                            

Assignment: Engrave a rock

• If you brought in your rock, measure it, create a new file in Illustrator that same size.
• Choose a font your would like to use to engrave your name like you did yesterday.
• You can choose another name or word
• You can download fonts
• You can add graphics if there is room
• When you have your file set up, convert your text to points (I know you can figure this out)
• Save your file to a flash drive and take it to the advanced student who worked with you yesterday.
• Together, open the file in Illustrator, set up your rock on the engraver, and engrave your name onto your rock.
• Upload your finished image along with a description about what you did or what you learned.
