Photoshop 1:

Assignment: 

• Parrot Perch
• This is a project! 
• You will use the pen tool to trace around the parrot body, and around his feet separately.  
• Then you'll find an image that has something for the parrot to perch on--like a limb, a finger, someone's head or shoulder, whatever)
  
• Then you'll have to trace around the perch (limb, finger, whatever) to put it in a separate layer, then arrange your layers to make it look as if the bird is perched with his tail behind the perch and his feet in front.
• Don't worry, there's a video!
• Trace the Parrot Video (There is no sound, but there is text)
• Trace the Parrot File

Assignment: 

•  Know what the following means:
• Rasterize
  Vectorize
  Resolution
  Render
  Digital zoom
  Optical zoom
  Interlace

Gaming Graphics:                                                                            

Assignment: 

• Create a comic strip.  You decide how many panels.  
• For your characters, take photos of either yourself or classmates to act out the script.
• "Place" your photos in an Illustrator file and trace your characters  
• Add speech bubbles, thought bubbles, sound graphics--whatever you need to complete the strip.
