Assignment: Sprite Grid Project

Vocabulary:  grid, sprite, original

• Create 8 original sprites (choose from the list below) using the shape tools and the pen tool. 
• Lay the sprites out on a grid with the center space titled:  Sprites.
• Use a nice text effect on the title.
• Name each of the Sprites, but use a regular font since the text will be small.
• Upload your finished project as "Sprites."

Choose 9 of these subjects for your sprites:  dragon, ninja, cowboy or cowgirl, alien, robot, animal of your choice (you can make two animals), something with wings, little boy or girl, new superhero, reptile.  Here is an example of the finished product with a few helpful hints.

Photoshop 1:

Assignment: 

• Watch this video about puppet warp, then find 4 images and use the puppet tool to:
• turn a frown to a smile (or vice-versa)
• turn regular eyebrows to raised eyebrows
• Change the curve of a snake's body
• Image of your choice  
 

Take a screenshot the before and after of all 4 images together and post it on your blog as "Puppet Warp."

Photoshop 2:

Assignment: 

•  If you are finished with your poster, choose a tutorial from one of the Photoshop Creative Magazines.  Show me which tutorial you choose and how long you thin it will take you to complete it.
