All classes:
1. FOR YOUR INFORMATION: If you like Math and were on the fence about an elective for next year, talk to Mrs. Lee about taking Accounting. It's a fun class using Quickbooks, a math application that you can also get certified in! As a bonus, if you're experienced in Quickbooks, your outlook for summer jobs and jobs after high school is greatly enhanced.

Assignment: Gamepress Game and video walkthrough
Note: thank you to those who have been trying to make the software recording feature work. I finally figured out that the student computers are not updated to the latest OS, and the record feature only works with that version. Also, if we use the Gamepress recording feature, we can't embed the video into our blog.
When you finish your game, you will record yourself playing the game. First you need to get the software:
- Download the software trial version for mirroring your iPad on your computer screen.
- You will need to create a free account to get the free download
- Hint: if you don't like using your own email for this, create another email at Gmail.com (or wherever you like) to use just for cases like this. You will often be asked to give email addresses when you want to access something on the web, and having an email address just for this purpose will save you from getting lots of ermails you don't want!
- (You do not have to download Perian if it says you should)
Recording your game:
- Open Quicktime Player
- Go to File > New Screen Recording
- Click Record
- Drag to select just your iPad screen
- Play your game
- Click the Stop button at the top right of your computer screen to stop
- Save
Getting the game into your blog:
- Upload your video to Teacher Tube (make a free account first)
- Find the Embed code and copy it
- Create a new post on your blog
- Click the HTML button
- Paste the code into the HTML window
- Publish your post
