Productive Free Time:  What is it?  How do you earn it?  How do you lose it?

Get Student Info page turned in--last day for full credit.

Tomorrow is last day for working in groups.

Rubric:  How to fill out.  Fill your portion out now.   Each member gives the rubric to me just before leading the activity.

Assignments:
East:  Pick up a rubric for each member of your group
West:  Make sure each member has a link to all the other members on their blog.  If you don't know how to do that, please see me.
North:  Make sure everyone has their own graphic on their blog.
South:  Report to me at the end of the period.

 Start activities--one or two per day. 

Day 5

North:  Does each member have a blog?  Does each member have access to Canva (either on iPad or computers)? 

South:  Report to me your group's progress.  Have you written the rules/directions?  Have you decided on a Canva design? 

West:  Is your activity creative?  Is there something your group should do to make it more so?

East:  Have you recorded the rules?  Does each member have a rule or set of rules to use with Canva?

  2.  Turn on location services for the app only.

If you have an original project you've done in either Photoshop or Illustrator and you'd like to enter that into the Art Show, please feel free to do so.  Images must have a resolution of 300, but if they are smaller than the Art Project images, that's okay.

Photoshop 1:

If you have not finished all 3 tutorials for preparing for the exam, do so now, otherwise:

  • Get ready for the test by doing the following:
    • Find Chromium in your Applications folder
    • Drag it to your dock
    • Open it
    • Click on the three little lines to the right of the URL box
    • Click on "Settings"
    • Scroll all the way down and click on "Show advanced settings" at the very bottom
    • Scroll down to "Privacy"
    • Click "Content Settings"
    • Scroll down to "Pop-ups" and click to allow sites to show pop-ups 
  • When you are ready to take the test:
    • Right click on the link you saved to your desktop (called Certiport) 
    • Go to "Open With"
    • Click "Other"
    • Click the dropdown that says "Recommended Applications" and change it to "All Applications"
    • Find Chromium and use it to open your link

 Log in to Certiport
Click the dropdown that asks what test you're taking.  It's the first one:  Adobe Certified Associate.
Click "Login"
The next page will ask:
Exam Category:  Certification
Exam Suite:  Adobe CS6
Exam:  Visual Communication Using Adobe Photoshop CS6 Mac
Leave everything else as it is and click "Next"

On the next page leave everything as it is except under "Proctor Authorization: at the bottom right:
Click "I have verified this candidate's ID"
Proctor Username:  lcmiller461
Call me over to put in the password
